The following are the list of players which have been selected to start in the NBA All-Stars game in Orlando, Florida at the end of this month.
Leading the way for the East team are Miami Heat pair of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, while another Florida-based player – Dwight Howard from the Orlando Magic – is also included.
The Chicago Bulls’ reigning MVP Derrick Rose and New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony make up the list of starters.
“It’s definitely fun,” Rose said of playing with the league’s other stars. “You learn more leadership skills.
“Especially playing on a team like that where every one of them are different type of leaders. And me being a young player, that’s something I can take from there and add it to this team.”
Meanwhile, over in the West, Los Angeles stars of Chris Paul and Blake Griffin of the Clippers and Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum of the Lakers.
Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder is the other starter announced for the West.
